Be hold accountable for overall local purchasing activities within the purchasing category, which include communication & coordination with business, support local sourcing plan development & implementation.

• Support & implement local sourcing strategy with consideration of business need
• Effective communication with business units to understand business demand
• Sourcing plan development, implementation and follow-up for local sourcing items and operational procurement. Deal with the PR timely, ensure order deliveries on time in full and agreements execution effectively. Resolve operation issues and maintain good working relationship with suppliers.
• Support & implement company procurement strategy, ensure operation excellence and operation cost optimization, accountable for purchasing Key performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Be responsible for procurement function of specified category, works with global procurement team, coordinates local sourcing, supports global sourcing strategies.
• Be responsible for procurement activities, ensure adequate control on vendor selection in place, ensures appropriate vendor selection and management mechanism and discipline in place and executed excellently.
• Be responsible for vendor management, highest ethical standard applied not only to procurement team, but also to company overall procurement activities.
• Ensure quality standards are strictly followed in procurement activities.

We expect

?     At least a college degree in business, chemical or related professional qualification.

?     Over 3 years of procurement and purchasing experience.

?     Chemical industry experience is strongly preferred.

?     Should possess sound business acumen and positive attitude.

?     Experience in SHE is an advantage.

?     Should be a good team player. Possess good communication skill and interpersonal skill.

?     Integrity is essential as well as passion and commitment.

?     Able to work under pressure as well as able to self-motivate.

?     Strong computer proficiency and application especially in Word, Excel, and presentation packages. Strong presentation skills are required.

?     Good English and Chinese proficiency
