Key Responsibilities:

1.To issue the monthly Forecast and weekly material delivery schedule to suppliers based on the Production Master Plan

2.To optimize inventory through the master plan and analysis of market needs.

3.To monitor and review local materials delivery schedule in SKU level.

4.To control VMI program and inventory holding.

5.To plan and control import material to ensure availability and optimal inventory holding. 

6.To respond to the market changes and to share such information with relevant suppliers.

7.To pull in/push out the material delivery schedule to maintain inventory at the lowest level without compromising material on time availability.

8.To control the material version change, obsolete and slow moving inventory in house and at supplier side.

9.To analyze market trends and make smart decision in inventory holding combination and communicate with supplier.

10.To participate new product launch project and provides professional advice and contributions in planning.

11.To provide information and suggestion to Assistant Planning Manager on supplier’s capacity constraint information.

12.To actively review the current planning system and assumptions, to provide suggestions and to lead for system enhancement

13.To prepare the Rough–cut capacity plan (Supplier for Pre-S&OP and Internal S&OP meeting.

14.To participate in weekly Planning meeting to ensure the Supplier weekly delivery promise is reasonable and achievable.

Requirement:

1.Bachelor degree in Science, Manufacturing, or Management (lower qualification with more relevant experience is acceptable).

2.3 years in production and material planning and control. MRP experience preferred.

3.Strong leadership, influencing, negotiation and coordination, PC knowledge, supervision skill required.
